My Son Ethan grew to see his very first Christmas this year. At only ten months old you would swear by watching that he'd been through this before! My little man tore open gifts, laughed and played, and even showed off some of his new outfits for the camera. This is by far the greatest gift a father could ever ask for...a great big smile on your child's face, PRICELESS!!! This all can't go without giving a great big thanks to Grandma!!! (she definitely has him ROTTEN!)

Mr and Mrs Cousins...Happily Ever After.
I have to admit, this is a couple that I could photograph everyday if I could. It amazes me how their style just jumps off of their pictures. Another cold (freezing!) day in Columbia, and once again, me with my camera were dragging my clients all over the city looking for that perfect shot. Needless to say, I didn't have to look long. But on the contrary, this shoot ended up being about four hours long and ended with drinks at this cool bar in Five Points. This has to be, hands down, the most diverse shoot of the year. We started out on the front steps of the State House, then to the back alleys of Main Street, complete with a variety of homeless guys who wanted to keep us company. Then, we headed to some abandoned train cars which we shot in almost total blackness, and finally, to a very mellow restaurant atmosphere topped off with a few adult beverages. Great day guys and tons of great moments for you collection. check out a few Teasers!
A Snow Day!
Twas the day after Christmas, and all through the city. Not creature was stirring...except for Shenedra's family and I! :). The day after Christmas was definitely not your typical day for an outdoor photo shoot. For those of you who live here in good old South Carolina, we all know that we are not snow people. But, Shenedra is From Maryland and this was her last day in town before returning home. Luckily, she has a family of good sports and the were all up the the challenge of numb hands and brisk winds...at least for a little while. We spent the afternoon scurrying around the State House grounds from location to location, trying not to prolong our shoot no longer than was necessary. Thanks guys for being such a fun group, despite the unfortunate weather forecast. Here are a few pics from the day.

Mr and Mrs Cousins
On the 19th of December I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Cousins. These two are a fun loving bunch with a niche for artistic expression and a passion for loving life. This was really a fun wedding to photograph, especially since it was the first time I really got to put some miles on my new D700 (Bravo Nikon!). With the perfect blend of a great venue, an awesome DJ, a fun loving wedding party, and a cigar bar to boot; the only thing I would have enjoyed more than photographing this wedding is being a guest at this wedding!! Everybody had a great time and it was the first time I'd ever had a bride "Crank that Soulja Boy." :) To English and Christopher, You are truly a beautiful pair and we wish much success and happiness in your new life long endeavor. I can't wait to do your Happily Ever After shoot next week! Here are a few teasers from your collection. Enjoy!!
