This past weekend Britt and I headed down to Charleston to photograph Safina and Avery's Engagement portraits. This couple opted to start their shoot on Folly Beach at sunrise! We also ended up heading to Daniel Island later that afternoon to grab a few great shots in a nice little park there. Brittany and I always try to take advantage of the great town of Charleston by making a weekend of it whenever we go. If I could shoot all my clients there I would! I can't wait to get the chance to actually shoot downtown Charleston! It's funny that I haven't already done it. Anyways, here are some of my favorites from what is going to be an incredible collection of photos. Enjoy!!

A Charleston Engagement...Live!
Sooo, my wife and I were down at Waterfront Park in Charleston waiting on a couple that we were scheduled to shoot engagement pics for, when we happened to stumble upon a lady who was kinda camped out behind a tree as if she were spying on someone. As she approached the area where we were sitting she said "please don't mind me guys I know this looks weird, but my sister's boyfriend is about to propose to her and we are trying to get it on camera." Instantly I figured it would be a great opportunity to capture a timeless moment for them and do a little on the spot marketing to boot :). Unfortunately, in all of the happiness of the moment after talking with the couple, I totally forgot to get their names! Some marketing businessman I am! But, I did manage to get her dear brother Justin's (who was also camped out behind a tree) email address to send the newly engaged couple a few pics. To the couple who's names remain unknown :), congratulations on your engagement, and if by chance you happen to stumble across my blog give me a shout; I have a feeling you might be in the market for a photographer ;)! Enjoy the pics!

Big Mike! { Senior Session}
This afternoon I took to the streets with Michael, A Senior at Crestwood High School in Sumter. Mike is an avid listener to all types of music and his eclectic taste also showed through in the fashion swagger he brought to our shoot today. Being the strong and silent type, Micheal's humbleness also carries a confidence that compliments his personality very will. He is currently leaning towards a Major in communication, but still is open to exploring other things. It was truly a pleasure working with this young man today, and even though it rained on us we still had a great shoot and a great time! Check out a few teasers from the day. Enjoy!
