Soooo, this past weekend Britt and I had the distinct pleasure of attending (and photographing of course) the lovely wedding ceremony of Mr. and Mrs. Andre Cook. I met Kisha and Andre about 8 months ago, and from the moment they told me their reception would be held at 1201 Gervais st. I couldn't wait to shoot their wedding! What a great venue, I could probably do an entire shoot there and never leave the inside of the building! One thing I enjoyed about this wedding was observing the closeness this couple had with their church family. There was a genuine bond of love, trust, and respect present that you just don't see everyday. Now before I go to my favs, I want to mention that I have no rhyme or reason why I post the photos I do for my favorites. I literally just go over the collection and find pics I either just like, or ones that I'm particularly proud of! Just a random tidbit of info...ENJOY!!!

Mr. and Mrs. Means!
I have to admit, I've been excited for quite some time now, waiting to shoot this wedding! I had so much fun with these two on their engagement shoot, not to mention Ebony's Bridal portrait collection was the website of the week on Collages.net! I knew this wedding would not disappoint! This duo was united on the 23rd of June right in the heart of downtown Columbia at the Columbia Metropolitan Center. This has probably been one of my longest working days this year, but it made for some beautiful portraits! I can't wait until I'm finished working this collection so I can share with the Bride and Groom (and everyone else!). Check out a few of my favorites from the session...ENJOY!!!
Michelle, Herbert...and BABY BELLA!!!
I wanted to take a moment to post a few pictures from a mini maternity session I did a few weekends ago with Michelle and Herbert Summers, and very soon to be baby Bella! Not only are these guys good friends of ours, but they are also one of my very favorite couples to photograph and just be around. In my opinion Michelle and Herbert are the Poster Children for the all familiar phrase "a match made in Heaven." Check out a few of my favs...Enjoy!

LaShaun and Chris...Engaged!!!
This Past Saturday I met up with LaShaun and Chris to Photograph their engagement pictures. Since the couple didn't have a particular look they were going for with the pictures, I figured the USC Horse Shoe/State House Combo would be the way to go...Traditional feel, but both locations have the potential for some fashion flare. These are two locations that I do shoot often, and if you've ever been there you know that both places are always crawling with photographers. No biggie, I always try to view a location that I shoot a lot with a fresh set of eyes each time I go there. The Horseshoe is the perfect place for such a feat. It seams like the more I go there, the more cool spots I find to shoot! The fact that I had a great looking couple who didn't have any reservations about being in front of the camera didn't hurt either! :) . check out a few of my favs from the session...ENJOY!!!
