Ethan and Ayden

On Monday I had the pleasure of photographing 18 week old twins Ayden and Ethan. These two little guys are the sons of  Tiffany and Richard Fortune.  I also did the Fortune's maternity portraits (which you can check out here) earlier this year, so technically I guess this is the second time I've taken pictures of these guys.  When we planned this shoot, the idea was to try and catch the boys while napping so they would be easy to work with. Of course that didn't work, but it actually worked out well in the end.  Ethan, the youngest of the two by a whole minute :) ran out of gas about 30 minutes into the shoot, but his brother Ayden was eager to steal the spotlight! The little guy seemed like he was use to being in front of the camera, and I think he even gave me a few poses to boot! We also got some great shots of Ethan catching his nap and we were even able to squeeze in a few Christmas photos.  So like I said earlier, it all worked out well in the end! here are a few peeks from the shoot. Enjoy!

Mr. and Mrs. Hall...Anytime Portraits!

This lovely couple may look familiar to some of you because they were featured in a post I wrote last Christmas for the White Family.  Shenedra and Brandon told me last year that the next time they had the opportunity when visiting South Carolina (From Maryland), they would be sure to schedule a shoot with me...and they did just that! It was a bit of a shuffle, but I was elated to get with these two over the Thanksgiving weekend for an Anytime Session. As always, we took to the streets of downtown Columbia to see what we could come up with.  Shenedra insisted that she was the type of client who needed lots of direction, which by the way is the total opposite of my shooting style :-), but the chemistry of this husband and wife duo made the candid moments come very easily. By the end of the shoot, she was a pro!  Thanks guys for making me a part of your holiday visit and I look forward to working with you both again.  Maybe next time I can venture to your neck of the woods...the wife loves to travel!  Check out a few peeks from the shoot. ENJOY!

The Deadly Assassins!

The shoot I had this weekend is definitely far from what you all are use to seeing from me...I guess. I had the opportunity to feed my creative spark by collaborating with Columbia Hair Stylist Richard Sims and his team of beautiful ladies Melanie, Ashley, and Amber (I Hope I spelled those names right ladies!) .  For those of you that live in the Columbia area, you all know how cold it was this past Saturday night. But I have to admit and give credit to these women when I say... THEY WERE AMAZING! The underlying theme for this shoot was the " Deadly Assassin" which is something that I can hopefully evolve in to a series of photos over the course of 2012.  Big thanks to Richard Sims for bringing his creativeness into this shoot! I definitely look forward to working with all of these guys again in the NEAR future :). Check out a few peeks from the night! Enjoy!!!

Corey and Sabrina...Engaged!

I've been waiting to photograph these guys for a while now and it was definitely worth the wait. We all got together on Saturday evening for Corey and Sabrina's E-session.  I had a nice mixture of new and a few old locations lined up. Thinking back now, I should probably start telling my clients ahead of time where I intend to take them, but with these guys it didn't matter! I don't think they could have chosen a more fitting wardrobe line up if I had told them anyway! Corey said he had never changed clothes in his car so fast and so many time in one day. It turned out to be a very ironic statement because Britt and I had tickets to see Nephew Tommy in Charlotte, and we ended up leaving the shoot about an hour before the show.  since we had intended to stay the night, the car was already packed. Can you say changing clothes, in a dark back seat, roaring down I-77 at way above the legal limit, with a quick stop to switch drivers...and we made it on time ;-).  Check out a few of my Favorite Shots from the day. Enjoy!
