This past weekend my wife and I headed to Charleston to meet up with our friends Michelle and Herbert for their Engagement Session. The wife and I decided to just make a weekend of the whole thing so we went down Friday evening and stayed in Charleston until Sunday. We got up Saturday morning and headed to the location, which was a beautiful place called Middleton Gardens. It's a perfect location to take some gorgeous pictures with lots of shade and scenery to spare. Well, with all this perfection in the mix, something was bound to go wrong. To start out, my primary camera battery mysteriously died on me before I even snapped the first picture, then I bent one of the pins on my CF card reader which in turned caused my camera to act a little flaky for a few minutes. The good news was, we had all the bugs worked out before the couple ever got there (it pays to be early!) Michelle and Herbert are one of those couple you just love to see, because they have the type of relationship that just exudes a little Al Green (love and Happiness). I told my wife I wished they lived in Columbia, because they're just fun to be around. Their session did not disappoint. Right off we were getting some great pictures. Brittany insists that they practiced posing before they left home. Either way, it worked! To top it off, there were so many little places to get those timeless shots I was like a kid in a candy store! Oh, and did I forget to mention the fact of it being my BIRTHDAY (now that's dedication)! The future bride and groom were good sports too, because even though they were dressed in their delicate whites, we all walked around and took pictures until all my memory cards were full! Michelle and Herbert here are a few pics to hold you over until I'm done with your edits. Enjoy!!!
