Meet the Broughtons !

This Past Saturday Brittany and I packed up the car and made the all so familiar commute to Charleston to play our part the the wedding of Tamekia and Nehemiah Broughton.  This time we were teamed up with our favorite Event Planner and Decorating Genius Your Signature Events (YSE) by Michelle Summers to create a wonderful day for this couple.  The interesting thing for me about this wedding was, I only met the Bride the week before the wedding (where we also did her bridal session) and I met the groom literally right AFTER the wedding! definitely not the norm for me, but we quickly made friends and were able to create some wonderful portraits of their wedding day.  Check out a few of my favs from the day...Enjoy!

Tameka and Tyrone...Engaged!!!

This shoot fell in the series of events which made up yet another very busy weekend.  This past weekend I made a stop at Edisto Gardens in Orangeburg, SC while headed to Charleston to shoot a wedding. I never book any other event when I have to shoot a wedding, but the client only requested a small block of coverage and with my hectic schedule as of late it only made since to use my time wisely. I met up with Tameka and Tyrone to shoot some engagement pics and the first thing I had to say was THANKS GUYS!  Edisto Gardens is a well kept photographic secret (well at least to me it was) and I will definitely be going there again.  The couple are SC natives who now reside in NC and made the commute to do the shoot. we had a great time searching the gardens for cool spots and chatting it up and although I had another appointment to make, we were able to spend about 3 hours shooting.  check out a few on my favs from the shoot. Enjoy!

Shanika and Casadine...Engaged!!

About two weeks ago I had a pretty busy weekend which included a bridal session, a baby shower, and a Maternity mini-session in Charleston on Saturday and a Engagement session in Charlotte the very next afternoon. Oh, did I mention I live in Columbia?! sheesh! But I digress, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Shanika and Casadine for their engagement session and we had a ball trolling around some cool spots in Charlotte. There was a little rain, but not enough to deter us and the shoot turned out great. I would really like more opportunities to shoot in this city! the last shot in the post is my version of a photo taken  of my wife and I by a great photographer in the Charlotte area by the name of Tim Hines. I hope I was able to do it justice. here are a few of my favs from a great ending to an extremely long weekend...Enjoy!

Baby Julia...3 Months!

I shot these photos of little miss Julia White in commemoration of her turning 3 months old.  Like her parents, Jacinda and Aaron, this little doll is a blast to shoot.  The shoot also included Julia's big bro Ayden, Mommy, and Daddy.  I've been slacking a lot lately on updating my blog, but I received a special request from a mother who is away from her daughter for the first time...Hang in there Cindy!!! check out a few of my favs from the shoot...Enjoy!

Mr. and Mrs. Holmes!

On May 12th, 2012 I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Vanessa and Terry Holmes.  You guys may remember this couple from the "Love and Basketball" Themed Engagement session I did with them a while back.  This lovely couple had a beautiful ceremony at Bible Way Baptist Church in Columbia SC, with the reception to follow at the Officer's Club on Fort Jackson.  I always enjoy spending time with these guys because they are just a fun loving duo, fun to be around, and fun to shoot!  Please check out a few of my favorite shots from the day...Enjoy!!!
