Christmas Siblings

Jennifer, Andrea and Moses met up with me on Sunday at Sesqui Park for a family portrait shoot. These three are siblings that plan to use the photos to give their mom a great Christmas gift.  I did something with this shoot that I've never done before...I shot the same location two days in a row!  So you're not crazy if you think the backgrounds in this post look familiar (see the previous post :) ) These three had great chemistry in front of the camera and it seems like they have lots of fun together.  Here are a few of my picks from the day.  I hope mom Likes them!

Cory and Calvin

Yesterday I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot for my best friend Calvin and his partner Cory.  This shoot was especially unique for me because it was my first time photographing a same sex couple, but I could not have asked for a better duo to do it with! These guys were open to whatever suggestions I had and that made the shoot a breeze.  Calvin, Cory, Britt, and I had a blast doing the shoot and we capped it off with a fun filled night at the bowling alley.  Here are some of my Favs from their collection. Enjoy!

The Future Mr. and Mrs. White

This is the second time I've had the opportunity to shoot these two and I have to admit...I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHING THESE GUYS!!! Cindy, Aaron, and I met on Friday to do their engagement shoot.  We started out at their beautiful wedding venue and then headed down town to complete what has now become my very first night engagement session.  Aaron and Cindy decided to take their E-session in the direction of "High-Fashion"  so I thought shooting it at night would be the perfect surrounding to pull it off. The couple was enthused from the start and it definitely came through in their collection. It also doesn't hurt that their just a good looking duo, and the fact that they were up for lots of walking, waiting on people out of our way, enduring the cold, and ducking a security guard to get these shots.  This might have been my most fun and exciting photo shoot to date! Here are a few teasers from the night of fun and excitement. Enjoy!

Ethan Alijah

After  a great session with the Montgomery's it was time to attempt to steal some good shots of my son Ethan.  It's a shame when you have to put your own son on your calendar to take pictures. :) This was Ethan's first shoot since he's been big enough to REALLY get around on his own and boy was it a challenge.  He had no interest at all in taking pictures. It took the whole family, Grandma included, to try and keep his attention toward the camera! We did manage to get a couple of great shots. I hope you all enjoy this peek of my Little Man!

Brent and Cintosha

This was the last of three photo shoots I had on sunday afternoon. I headed down to Riverfront Park to meet up with Cintosha and Brent for their engagement shoot. I have to admit, I was nearly exhausted by the time we started to shoot, but these two brought an energy that just seemed to jump start my creative juices. We nailed a few natural light shoots that are a little different to my style of shooting. And we also pinned a few shots that I tried with another couple that didn't quite turn out like I wanted.  So in that regard...Big thanks to Cintosha and Brent for being the happy, fun loving couple that you are, it really came through in your collection. Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

A Beautiful Family

This past sunday I headed to the State House for a family portrait session with Samatha, Gary, and Antonio.  This was just one of those shoots that really unfold on their own because this bunch was just so photogenic.  From the very first click of the shutter we had some jewels for their collection and the shots just got better as the shoot went on.  Brittany had Ethan, our son, at this shoot (which is something we NEVER do!) but he was scheduled for a shoot directly after theirs. We made our way around the State House finding some good locations and shot until everyone was happy.  I even got Gary to volunteer to be my new assistant, and he gave me some great ideas for poses. Thanks Gary! Here are a few of my favs from the shoot.
